By installing and using JargoNaut, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.
Description of Service
JargoNaut is a browser extension that:
- Helps users understand technical jargon in social media posts
- Uses AI (via OpenRouter) to provide explanations
- Currently supports Twitter/X and LinkedIn platforms
Your Responsibilities
API Key
- You must obtain your own API key from OpenRouter
- You are responsible for keeping your API key secure
- You are responsible for any costs associated with your API usage through OpenRouter
Acceptable Use
- Use JargoNaut only for its intended purpose
- Do not attempt to misuse, hack, or exploit the extension
- Comply with the terms of service of platforms you use JargoNaut on (Twitter/X, LinkedIn)
Limitations and Disclaimers
No Warranty
- JargoNaut is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated explanations
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
No Liability
- We are not responsible for any costs incurred through your OpenRouter API usage
- We are not liable for any damages arising from use of JargoNaut
- You use JargoNaut at your own risk
Third-Party Services
- JargoNaut relies on OpenRouter for AI functionality
- We are not responsible for OpenRouter’s service availability or terms
- You must comply with OpenRouter’s terms of service
Intellectual Property
- JargoNaut is open source software
- Licensed under the MIT License (see repository for details)

Changes to Terms
